Hi, I'm Desiree — founder of The Planning House LLC and your dedicated event planning partner.
My career in events began over a decade ago as a Special Events Coordinator for one of the largest churches in America. What started as a passion quickly became a calling. I spent years coordinating large-scale productions, managing vendor relationships, building timelines, and ensuring that every event felt personal and intentional.
From there, I was recruited by a Fortune 500 company to serve as their Community Engagement Manager, where I led the planning of nonprofit events, managed corporate social responsibility initiatives, and connected major corporations with nonprofits across the region.
My experience expanded further when I served as Director of Operations for a ministry law firm, where I helped build and execute online events, designed high-ticket offer launch strategies for churches and ministries, and guided nonprofits through every step of their formation.
One of the highlights of my career was serving as Artist Liaison for a large-scale concert event in partnership with a Grammy award-winning artist and major record label — managing all artist travel, ground transportation, hotel accommodations, welcome hospitality, and individualized timelines for the full talent roster.
In January 2026, I founded The Planning House LLC — the culmination of everything I've built, learned, and loved. My goal is simple: to bring the same level of excellence I've delivered for Fortune 500 companies, major productions, and national organizations to every single client who trusts us with their event.
When I'm not planning events, I'm a proud new mom — which means I understand better than ever just how precious your time, energy, and special moments truly are. I don't take that lightly.
